WORK BASICS

By April 13, 20187 Comments

When it comes to work wear, am not into suits and very formal looks. I’m an early years teacher by day and comfort is key for me.

On a normal workday, I am mostly in formal pants, a chic top, a flat shoe, which are mostly loafers and very minimal accessories.

Gone are the days where I would wear heels to work. I find flats to be very comfortable, and I can fully immerse myself in my work without having to worry about getting tired as I move from one place during the day and have to stand for long hours.

I also have to be decent and fashionable at the same time, I do wear dresses once in a while but they have to be below the knee. I stay away from skirts and anything too exposing.

For this look, I went for a simple navy short-sleeved top, light blue trousers, and suede navy blue loafers!

Let me know what your basics are for work.

Until next time.

Love and light,

C.K

I absolutely love this work wear kind of series you have been doing. Other than the fact that it is totally chic on you. It gives me ideas on how to pair items for work.

I totally get you. Just experiment with different styles, and wear more fitted clothing to accentuate your body. Hope that helps. Thanks for stopping by!
