Power dressing for women has evolved over the years to include suits, tuxedos and sleek pantsuits that give a statement of self-confidence and self-acceptance.
When I saw this tuxedo style suit, I could only imagine the many ways I could wear it. lt could work as a sophisticated alternative to an evening gown; I could wear it for a meeting or for drinks with friends depending on how I dress it up or down.
For a casual chic look, I opted to wear a bralette instead of a blouse, which ensured that the main focus was on the stunning suit.
The black lapel on the suit added an interesting twist of color that made it easier to match the suit with black heels.
The slit at the back of the jacket allows for easy movement. Most often than not, jackets without a slit tend to be restrictive especially for curvy women.
I’m still rocking my braids, which I’m surprisingly growing into, although it’s definitely not my thing.
What do you think of the suit? What other ways would you wear it?
I would love to hear from you.
I would like to thank wasp and sprout for the lovely shoot venue. They have an amazing menu and a cozy ambience. They are located at the Loresho shopping Centre, so feel free to give it a try.
Ps- I loved the cashew nut milk cappuccino
Lastly, I’d like to thank you so much for your support so far. It makes me happy to see that our numbers are growing everyday. Let me know what you would like to see more of this year from me.
With Love,
CK
