I had the pleasure of working with one of Kenya’s celebrated stylists- Lady Mandy in putting up today’s outfit together with other amazing looks which I will be sharing as we go by.
I love Mandy’s style for being edgy, creative and funky and she did not fail to deliver in styling today’s outfit.
The poncho. It is warm, perfect for this weather and instead of wearing it by itself, we added a red belt to add color and make it ‘dressier’, black boots, some sunnies for aesthetics, and a fringe bob.
Together, this is easily a weekend look for Saturday or Sunday.
I love the idea of wearing poncho’s in the cold, it’s something different from the ordinary trench coats. I would also add a pair of stockings for those crazy cold days. Oh, and it comes with a hoodie, in case you have to do a bit of walking on a chilly day.
